The 3D Vision Group is affiliated to the Institute of Automation at Chinese Academy of Sciences and the CAS Engineering Laboratory for Intelligent Industrial Vision. The group develops methods, technologies and systems in the field of 3D computer vision, especially focusing on large-scale scene 3D reconstruction and understanding for smart city, unmanned system, intelligent manufacturing and augmented reality.

The research topics of 3D Vision Group cover various key technologies for 3D scene reconstruction and understanding, including basic geometric solving, structure-from-motion, multi-source geometric reconstruction, scene semantic understanding, 3D vectorized modeling, visual localization and navigation, etc.
